Jeff Helleberg and Doug Wetzel are partners in Market Advisors, Inc. Jeff was the Editor of the Marketarian Letter and a nationally recognized analyst who was quoted as an investment authority in such publications as The Wall Street Journal, Barron’s, The Dick Davis Digest, Investors Business Daily, The New York Times, Washington Post and numerous top financial publications. 

Since 1979, Mr. Helleberg had earned a reputation as one of the nations top market analysts. Jeff is primarily a value investor that seeks to identify situations in companies paying little attention to market temperament, the political climate or other exterior market conditions. Mr. Wetzel had 17 years of banking, sales and marketing experience and joined with Mr. Helleberg in 1995 as co-editor of The Marketarian Letter and was responsible for attracting new subscribers and companies to be highlighted in the newsletter. 

In 1996 The Marketarian was purchased by a local bank holding company wanting to bring their expertise to their banking customers. Evaluating Bonds, mutual funds, and companies from many different sectors of the market. Managing money for clients and producing the newsletter every 3 weeks, and building the subscribers to the newsletter were handled by Mr. Helleberg and Mr. Wetzel. After 1999, Mr. Wetzel formed his own consulting company, Gilbert & Chatterton, and remained in contact with publications, clients and various brokers and companies CEOs assisting them to gain exposure to the investment community. 

Mr. Helleberg has since sold his rights to the Marketarian Letter to the bank and completed his three year no-compete clause and has again teamed up with Mr. Wetzel in writing independent reports for companies and working with private clients, as was his expertise with the Marketarian.
